Due Diligence & Verification
Due Diligence Findings & Recommendation Report
Every engagement ends in one document a decision can rest on: the findings against the Nairank Global Standard, the evidence behind them and our recommendation.

Scope
- Turnaround
- Issued within two working days of the field and laboratory work being completed.
- Coverage
- 7 countries, and anywhere in Africa
- Standards
- Nairank Global Standard; supports OECD-aligned due diligence
The report sets out what was found and attaches the record that supports it. How each finding is reached under the Nairank Global Standard is shown to the client in their own report.
The report closes with a recommendation: proceed; proceed on conditions, once the listed conditions are met; or do not proceed. The supplier’s risk is rated Low, Medium or High against the OECD red flags. Conditions are written so they can be placed in a contract. An unfavourable report is delivered in the same form and with the same care as a favourable one.
Typical situations
- At the close of every engagement — it is included in each one
- When a board, bank or partner needs a single document to approve a transaction
- When several suppliers are being compared for one order
Method
Our testers and inspectors are based in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, the DR Congo, Ghana and Sierra Leone, and deploy with XRF analysers wherever in Africa the material is held.

Why clients choose us
- One published standard, applied the same way to every supplier.
- Findings cannot be changed by the client or the supplier; they follow the evidence.
- Nairank Global is independent of buyers and sellers. Its fees are outcome-neutral: they are the same whether or not the transaction proceeds. Our fee is agreed before work starts and is the same whatever we find.
Questions
Not answered here? Message the desk.
Is the report included in every engagement?
Yes. Whatever the scope, the engagement closes with a written report and recommendation.
What does “Assessed under the Nairank Global Standard” mean?
That the supplier was assessed against the Nairank Global Standard, with the findings, the risk rating and the recommendation set out in an NGS assessment report of that date.
Can I share the report with my bank?
Yes. It is issued to you, and you may share it with those who need to approve the transaction. They can confirm it is genuine on our document verification page.
Can a supplier pay for its own report?
A supplier may commission a check of itself, but the report then says so on its face, and the assessment rests on the same evidence as any other.
